How are you? I'm doing pretty well. The week went by pretty quickly which was nice!
On Monday we had a cool family home evening with the Mqwati family. We watched the Prophet of the Restoration movie so they could learn a little more about Joseph Smith and they liked it so much! We had a good discussion afterwards. Sister Mqwati is basically already a member. She gets assignments from the Relief Society and does them, which is awesome! And we're working with a 19 year old kid named Lebohang, not sure if I've talked about him before but he's awesome. He had problems with basically every commandment but he's keeping them all now! So he's definitely ready for baptism.
On Wednesday we went to the mission home for New Missionary Orientation and it was pretty fun. Sister Dunn had muffins and homemade cinnamon rolls (best thing of my life) and they fed us lunch as well! They were telling all the new missionaries about mission life, and then we ate lunch and played ping pong. I played President Dunn and he destroyed me like 11-5 haha, but it was pretty fun. I got to know the Dunn's a lot more, which was fun.
We have another investigator named Lebohang. It's a pretty common name here. She's in her early 20’s and is studying to be a nurse. She was a referral from a member. We taught her on Friday about the Godhead and committed her to pray about it, and she was really eager for us to come back. So we came back on Sunday, and she had already received an answer to her prayers, which was sweet! She is very prepared, so we're excited to continue teaching her.
And then on Saturday we played soccer with the young men and we invited some investigators, so it was pretty fun! We're trying to get them to set up a videogame night, just another way to get them together and fellowship. Unfortunately I can't go, but that's alright :) The young men here are cool, and they're having a school break right now so they're always available to come teaching with us!
So yeah, pretty chill week, but it went well!
Thanks for the emails. Talk to you later!
